As a major industry of Australia, it is often said that
wool is the one subject without which no discussion of Australian history can
take place. An extremely superb natural fiber, wool shines in its absorbency,
its resilience, its flexibility and its ability to absorb toxins.
Bedding products that take advantage of these superior characteristics of wool
come from high quality down wool, produced by select farms under direct contract
with the manufacturers for the first time in history. I would be very happy indeed
if even more people could experience the comfort and rest that wool bedding can
afford.
In closing, I would like to extend my congratulations on the development of wool
bedding products and hope that they continue to deepen and further the warm, friendly
ties between Japan and Australia.
